[Soufun] Suwalper Wallpaper, as a listed wallpaper company in the Asia-Pacific region, is well-known in the industry. But there are still some netizens who don't know about Suwalper wallpaper, so please make a brief introduction for them.

[Suwalper Alan Kang (Jia-Xiang)] Shanghai Suwalper Functional Decor Materials Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-funded enterprise. It was established in Taiwan in 1983. It has been nearly 28 years now. Our factory is located in Fengxian District, Shanghai. For example, we have nearly 6,000 distribution points, selling three products including our three brands. At present, it has a certain reputation in the country and in the industry.

 

[Soufun] What do you think of the successful holding of Suwalper Wallpaper in Liaoning Merchants Association?

[Suwalper Alan Kang (Jia-Xiang)] Liaoning Station is the first stop of Suwalper Wallpaper Merchants Association. The headquarters of Suwalper Wallpaper pays more attention to the Liaoning market. This year, Suwalper Wallpaper launched a new corporate CI image and brand image, transforming from a wallpaper manufacturing enterprise to a design-oriented one. Service is the root of the brand enterprise, making every effort to build the Suwalper wallpaper brand.

The successful holding of the Merchants Fair in Liaoning is of great significance. It means the beginning of Suwalper’ s transformation, paying more attention to the brand and cultivating its own brand. Well-known companies in the world have their own brands, such as Apple, Nokia, etc. These are the values. At the same time, we will also increase investment in branding, such as cooperation with SouFun.com.

 

[Soufun] At the Merchants Fair, we saw a lot of Suwalper brand products. Innovation is especially important for the wallpaper industry. Can you introduce today's new products?

[Suwalper Alan Kang (Jia-Xiang)] Suwalper brand will launch about 200 to 300 new products every month.   Every spring is when we release new products. This year is special. A special situation this year is that we launched a new brand. This new brand is our UNIWAL wallpaper. For the company itself, we position this brand as a mid- to high-end product, and it is also a product that is more inclined to home decoration.

We have many special ideas about this brand at the beginning of its design. For example, we cooperated with some designers in the industry. For example, the team of Taiwan's "Achievement Design", including Mr. Bai in Shanghai, helped us design a series of works under the UNIWAL brand.   We positioned it as a master series. This master series this year, in the first half of the year, it adopts some products that are newer oriental. That is to say, the design of the east, some elements of the oriental tradition, such as the four mythical beasts we designed this time, the green dragon, the white tiger, the rose finch, and the basalt, and a series of stories with Dunhuang as the theme. There are designs made by some elements of the Tang Dynasty with the central concept of water sleeves, peonies, and Tang tricolor in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. This is what I think is more innovative in the wallpaper industry.

We also create another fashion series for such a brand. However, such a series, UNIWAL's fashion series, should be aimed at the younger groups in the whole market, or the post-80s generation, who have their own ideas and some special elements they want. We are trying to take the fashion series in this direction. Other products include our "Livingstyle" brand. This year, many new products from abroad, the United States and Italy, also have their very important characteristics. This year's feature, I think, is mainly in the color saturation of printing, including the new performance of materials. This year there are some new materials, such as yarn wallpaper. These new materials are also a breakthrough abroad and a new highlight of our "Livingstyle" brand.
